B is for...

B is for....

Book Boyfriends.
Mine is Evan Mathews from Rebecca Donovan's Breathing Series.

"Emma, there was never a choice. I will always choose you. Always."
 ~ Rebecca Donovan

When I read the books, I picture Evan to look like this picture of actor Chris Wood.
The series is an emotional rollercoaster about a girl who endures an abusive home life, but has an escape in her charismatic best friend and her loving and supportive boyfriend. It's my favorite book series and worth a read.

I don't have a 'book boyfriend', but Dave Grohl is my secret lover. (I guess I should stop shouting it from the rooftops or it won't be so secret anymore)

Maya, very nice. I had to look him up as I have never read that book.

Mary, Dave Grohl is AMAZING! He is a creative genius & I have nothing but respect for him. I saw the Foo Fighters in concert w/ the Red Hot Chili Peppers.. tte Peppers stayed on stage & lead singer had eyes closed for most of the set. But when FF came out, Dave was so interactive w/the crowd, even running up & down the aisles giving high fives. Loved it!

Hmmm. Interesting question...my book boyfriend...If I went with just YA reads, I'd have to go with Noah from the Mara Dyer series. (although I enjoyed books 1 & 2 much better than #3. Three just got too weird...)

I never had a book boyfriend. Books are so short, even if you read a series... On the other hand I might have had a lot of them. One night stands. Sometimes a week or two and then there's the next one. From time to time I have two at once and can't decide as the time. Spend with them is so short. Some are married, others are assholes and I am happy to get rid of them for good after I've turned the last page.

Right now I stalk the Plantagenets (I stalk them back as they have stalked me during the last years). I will see if one of them is book boyfriend material, but up to know I can tell you that they aren't. Well, perhaps kings are not for me?!

Wait. Yesterday I read a graphic novel about Ben Aaronovichs Rivers of London. Peter Grant could be one of them, or Nightingale? Oh dear, reading his next book of this series will never be the same now * lol*

I can't recall ever having had a book boyfriend. It's usually not the men I remember, but the women I have identified with.
